Disability Rights Oklahoma is the federally funded advocacy group for people with disabilities in Oklahoma. Church on the Move is serving their city on July 11th! As a part of the church’s LOVE DAY, volunteers are hosting a special event on their lawn and YOU are invited! Summer is here and it’s getting hot outside! We want to invite all foster and adoptive families to spend the evening cooling off by the pool. Join us for our FREE! FAMILY! FUN! event at Neinhuis Aquatic Facility located in Broken Arrow. It is a great place to bring all of your children. There are slides for the big kids and kiddie pools for the little ones! Participants will deepen their understanding of Levels of Engagement and the IDEAL Response by learning how to accurately identify behavioral cues and match caregiver responses to a child’s needs in the moment. Through guided scenarios and group discussion, caregivers will move beyond knowing the steps to building confidence in deciding when to connect, correct, calm, or protect—strengthening felt safety and relational trust while effectively managing challenging behaviors.

We are excited to announce our 6th Annual Drive Thru Christmas Parade for Foster and Adoptive Families on Saturday, December 6th from 10:00-11:30 am at Life.Church in Owasso! We hope to bring joy and share the love of Christ by blessing families with a fun-filled event! Think “trunk or treat” meets “stationary Christmas parade.”
